Yolanda Figueroa

Director - Columbia Gorge

Hello, my name is Yolanda Figueroa. While I am new to the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) community, I am not new to providing compassionate care and support. I am eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in the lives of the individuals and families I serve.

I bring six years of experience in senior living, with a strong background in supporting older adults with diverse care needs. Throughout my career, I have worked closely in memory care, a field that I am especially passionate about. My experience has helped me develop patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and a person-centered approach to care.

I strongly believe in the importance of empowering individuals to make their own choices, achieve their goals, and maintain as much independence as possible. Supporting people to live fulfilling, self-directed lives while preserving their dignity and individuality is at the heart of the care I provide.

I am committed to helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while building meaningful relationships within the community. I look forward to continuing my professional growth and making a difference in the IDD community.
