Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) FAQs
Do I qualify for I/DD services?
Anyone enrolled in Oregon’s K-Plan qualifies for I/DD services, as the program automatically covers individuals who meet the state’s eligibility criteria. The K-Plan ensures access to in-home and community supports without traditional waitlists.
How Can I Qualify for I/DD Services?
To qualify for I/DD services in Oregon, you’ll work with your county’s Community Developmental Disabilities Program (CDDP) or local Brokerage (attach link here) to apply and show documentation of an intellectual or developmental disability. Once enrolled in Oregon’s K-Plan, you’ll automatically qualify and gain access to in-home and community supports without long waitlists.
Can I Take Care of a Family Member with I/DD?
Yes! If you are the legal guardian however, the individual must be over the age of 18.
Do You Offer Transportation?
Yes! For those that have transportation included in their ISP, however if it is not included, we reimburse up to 10 miles per shift.
Can I have the same DSP every time?
Continuity of care is ver important so we try schedule same person(s) depending on how many shifts per week.
