Dr. Todd Sheldon
“Dr. Todd Sheldon founded Almost Family with a deeply personal mission: to ensure that his own family members—and families like his—could receive the highest quality care delivered with compassion, dignity, and respect. After caring for loved ones and seeing firsthand the challenges families face when navigating in-home support, he set out to create an organization that puts people first.
A longtime resident of Central Oregon, Dr. Sheldon has lived in the region since 2001. Before founding Almost Family, he served as a staff optometric physician in the U.S. Navy and went on to build an eye care practice across Oregon and California. His passion and purpose remain rooted in expanding Almost Family as a trusted, multi-state provider of in-home care for seniors and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Guided by his values of family, service, and integrity, Dr. Sheldon has grown Almost Family into an agency dedicated to helping clients live meaningful, independent lives with the support they need.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Sheldon enjoys working on his farm, traveling with his wife, trail running, and spending time with their adult children and two granddaughters.”
